Zsolt Gyulay on the work of Hungaroring
Hungaroring is being rebuilt with steam, but the Formula One Grand Prix must be held on the first weekend of August. Are they doing well with work?
– We work without stopping, and although I do not want to shout, a large project is being implemented worldwide. We run a race with time, as there will be a Hungarian Grand Prix in August, but at the same time there will be extremely high levels of work, and the Mogyoród facility will completely change.

Was the development timely?
– Absolutely. Our contract is for 2032, but one of the conditions was that the work had to be started. The arrangement was always satisfied with the rightholder, but we were constantly receiving signals to modernize Hungaroring, which was handed over in 1986. It has just begun and I can promise that everyone will be satisfied with the end result.
Does Formula One control the Formula One Management controls workflows?
– We host our representatives every two months. I can proudly say, they are satisfied, and even refer to us as an example. By the way, this year’s two racing venues, Australia and China, were only praised words when Hungary was discussed. It can and should be built for this.
Are you sure the future of the Hungarian GP?
– This is a traditional venue that teams, pilots like. Despite the enormous fight for the right to settle, Hungaroring is a stable player in the uninterrupted fortieth race of the Véba.
