Caroline Nasica is bloody, a character of pig which undoubtedly contributed to his notoriety: when the young artist embarks on comics on Instagram during confinement, it is a festival of anecdotes in which, at the choice, she puts slaps, attacks, insults, spits, endowed with a prodigious talent to put herself in situations not possible and surrounded by a visible family circle. Four years later, she broke out the framework of the impulsive sketch in ten boxes to devote an entire book to her family and her village of origin.
Marseille, a city she leaves the space of a spring after a breakup, is relegated to a single, gray opening page on which the young woman will not turn at any time. It is in the microscopic village of Tox (99 inhabitants) in the hollow of the mountains of Haute-Corse that all this story will nestle, a landscape of which Caroline Nasica takes care to immediately defuse the postcard aspect: to the right of a smashed phone booth, on the panel riddled with holes (balls, obviously), someone superimposed its Corsican name, tocchisu.
