Zelenski: Hundreds of Chinese citizens are fighting against Ukraine in the Russian army – Cyprus Newspaper

Ukrainian President Volimir Zelenski said that hundreds of Chinese citizens have fought against their country in the Russian army.

Zelenski addressed the participants with a video conference at the 27th Meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (Ramstein) held at the NATO headquarters in Brussels.

President Zelenski said that the Russian army sent a message to the conference during a visit to Kriviy Rig, which was organized by the Russian army on 4 April.

Zelenski stated that Russia continues to organize attacks with ballistic missiles and said that they need more effective air defense opportunities.

Especially Patriot air defense systems are required to express that Zelenski said, « 10 Patriot systems need. Free world has them. » he said.

Hundreds of Chinese are fighting against Ukraine

Stating that Russia has started to add Chinese citizens to its army, Zelenski said, “Now we have the knowledge that at least hundreds of Chinese citizens have fought as a part of the Russian occupation forces. This means that Russia is trying to continue the war. Even at the expense of the Chinese lives.” He said.

Zelenski called on the Allies to increase pressure on Russia and said that more investment in Europe’s defense industry should be made.

Zelenski also reported that they have continued to work with partner countries to deploy foreign soldiers to their country as a peacekeeper within the scope of security guarantees.
