Zakharova: Kyiv remains obsessed with defeat of Russia
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said today that the drone attack on the Kursk region by Ukrainian forces seems particularly cynical after Kiev’s statements about his alleged desire for peace.
– The constant crimes of the misanthropic regime (Ukrainian President Volodymir Zelenski) look particularly cynical after statements of alleged desire for peace. However, those statements should not deceive anyone… Criminal Kievan Junta is not inclined to resolve the conflict with diplomatic means and is still obsessed with the idea of defeating our country – Zakharova said in a statement posted on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s website.
She added that Moscow is calling on the world community to condemn the actions of the authorities in Kiev and show determination to end « the bloody works of the Greenski gang ».
In today’s mass attack on Ukrainian drones on Kursk, one civilian killed and nine injured. Fires broke out in several houses, emergency garage was hit and 11 vehicles were damaged. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the region was attacked by 109 drones.
