Zaimagaoglu, IV in Ankara. Participated in the Accessible Libraries Workshop – Cyprus Newspaper

Deputy Prime Minister, Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment of the Culture Department Director Şirin Zaimağaoğlu, within the framework of the World Disabled Week in Ankara, the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey IV. He joined the Accessible Libraries Workshop.

According to information from the Culture Department, Zaimagaoglu, Culture Department of the Kyrenia Public Library Officer Rukiye Kaymak and Library staff Raziye Tilkioglu was accompanied.

In addition to the TRNC, the workshop attended by representatives from Bulgaria and Azerbaijan, information and experiences about library services, technologies and applications developed for users with different obstacles were shared.

In his short speech at the opening of the event, Zaimağaoğlu, the Director of the Culture Department, gave information about the national library and public libraries in the cultural department.

Zaimagaoglu, since 2025 on the « Life in Libraries, Libraries in Life » approach with the approach of positioning the libraries in life emphasized.

Zaimagaoglu stated that they organized art and activities that host art and artist in the regional libraries.

Şirin Zaimağaoğlu, Director of the Department of Culture, stated that they were once again proud in terms of the activities carried out by the Culture Department in the fields of libraries in their contacts during the workshop.

Zaimagaoglu, especially the Girne Public Library will be completed in the near future after the accessible library will be a candidate to receive the title, he said.
