Zagreb’s team took over last week Andrija Nikoliche captured the thread, which he released from his hands in November, and interesting that he had been training for five years today, Gorica. And he returned to Zagreb from Dugo Selo, with which he won this finish as well as the Premier League. Dugo Selo on the way to Poreč threw as many as four first -team players: Moslavina, Dubrava, Spačva and Poreč. The last two on paper are better quality than the Osijek people, so the Dugoselci hopes that they could reach the finals, but also to Europe.

In that Case became the first second team in the Cup final, after Kastela 2010, the season will end the former handball player, today a young and ambitious sports director Dominik Miskovic, whose brother Matej is Gorica coach, who is in the semifinals after 20 years.

Act statements:

Frane Veraja, Osijek coach:

– The biggest match is ahead of us in the last 20 years. We are 60 minutes away from going to Europe. In the semifinals we are awaiting the champion of the 1st League North. The Dugo Selo team that made a respectable roster this year and can be counting the Champions League with the right thing. It should definitely be the two players, Markusic and Kaleb. From the match with Moslavin (4 rounds before the end of the championship), we are actively preparing for this match. We are all healthy and we will surely motivate and willing to welcome a career match. I hope we will keep the level of the championship game and then we really have nothing to fear.

Lovre Frajhaut, Osijek player:

– The match on Friday is a generational opportunity to accomplish all of us something that has been a handball world in the city on Drava for a long time foreign. So I think we need to be maximally focused on all the tasks we have, try to play without pressure, the way we have a thick because I think we are the strongest then. The opponent of a very high quality, very justified semi -finalist, filled with the names of respectable handball knowledge, but not invincible. We see our chance in a golden environment between calmness and aggression, so we will strive to portray ourselves. See you in Poreč!

Dominik Miskovic, VD coach of Dugo Selo:

– There is one of the most special chapters in the history of our club. The Dugo Selo Male Handball Club prints history this season – placement in the Package24 Premier League, which is secured several rounds before the end of the season, and now we are among the four best teams of the Croatian Cup. In the year we celebrate the 70th anniversary of the club, we have achieved two historical successes, in a way that confirms that our project is serious and systematic. This Final Four is a reward for all the work and effort we have invested. Along the way, we threw out four premiere teams that we can pride in pride that we are deserved here. In the last few days we have found ourselves in an awkward situation because there has been a change of coach. So far, coach Andrija Nikolic has accepted the invitation to return to the most trophy club in Croatia, in RC Zagreb. This way, Andrew, thank you for his work and effort during this period where he was a coach. We all stopped at the club together and we made the decision that as a sports director I temporarily take over our team and take it to the Final Four. We are aware that we are not favorites, but we are not just here to participate. We have prepared ourselves, we know our qualities and we want to present ourselves in the best light. We will leave our hearts on the field because we believe in what we do and that is what pushes us forward. Dugo Selo is a club of rich handball tradition, a club that has been developing players for years and contributing to Croatian handball. This season is a confirmation that we do it all for a reason and the right way, and that is why we will enjoy every moment of this Final Four, proud of what we are and what we are about to become.

Ante Kaleb, a long village player:

– We are a great pleasure and honor that we have placed at the Final Four Cup in Poreč. As a first -team player, participating in such a prestigious tournament is a great privilege and confirmation of our work and effort. At the beginning of the season, they did not go through the head of such ambitions, but we were able to achieve this fantastic result, which we are extremely proud of. We look forward to the match in the semifinals against Osijek, although we believe that Osijek is a mild favorite because of a higher rank of competition. We hope that this will only be the beginning of even more success and that with a good game we will reach the best results in the history of the Men’s Handball Club Dugo Selo.

Matej Miskovic, Gorica coach:

– There is a big match ahead of us and a big challenge! In the semifinals of the final four of the Croatian Cup, we will weigh with the multiple champion of the PPD Zagreb. The team comes ready, motivated and without respect for the name of the opponent. We are aware of the qualities of Zagreb, their sage width and experience in big matches, but we believe in ourselves, our fighting, a team spirit and energy that we have reached this stage of the competition. We will try to play a quality match and to interrupt ourselves in the best way.

Hrvoje Cekovic, Gorica player:

– After 20 years we won the Final 4 Cup of Croatia, one great success for the club. We pulled Zagreb in the semifinals. Certainly the favorite of quality, but we will prepare the best we can and give the best possible match for us and the spectators. ”

Andrija Nikolic, Zagreb coach:

– Expectations are always high in the handball club as Šo Zagreb. Gorica is a good club, and a good team. We will certainly not underestimate them. We will prepare well. It is a cup where you are not entitled to a mistake. But I believe we are favorites. So we will set ourselves up and play both games to the maximum, to win that Cup.

Matej Mandic, Zagreb player:

– We are preparing, we are working on some details. We fix some things with a new coach and we adopt some of his ideas. We know him well, he didn’t leave us long ago. We return that system of his. We hope that will look good. Gorica is a very high quality team. We have not yet met with them this season because they were in the league to stay, but certainly one quality team with a lot of young players. I can single out Jacob Dujic, who is the premier league’s top scorer and it is clear that we have to pay attention to him. We hope to prepare well, win and get into the finals. And then after that in the final I do not know which team will wait for us, but we have to be maximally serious, because every match is important to restore confidence after a draw against Našice. I hope we will win and in the finals and win the first trophy. We know what he means to this club.
