Ystad has match ball after fighting victory
In the first final, Ystad won 32-31 at home. Hammarby won the second match by two goals margin – 37-35 – and also had a two -goal lead in the break in the third match.
But the home team caught up and had a goal’s superior for the last minute of the match. Then they held the ball for a long time and could finally put 33-31 before Hammarby managed to score a goal in the closing seconds.
– It was good wear and tear and heart and fight – not so much finely, says Ystad’s foremost goal scorer Jakob Nygren (six goals) to handbollsligan.se.
– It is a fantastic final series, even and with a fantastic atmosphere in both halls.
He says that It was the home crowd that gave the team extra energy to win the match.
Hammarby’s Josef Pujol was pleased with the team’s game.
– We make a good match, but I think we had a little post out and deserved to at least get an extension, he says.
On Friday, the fourth final match is played in the best of five, and Ystad can decide in Stockholm.
– We will win another match and we are happy to do it on Friday, says Nygren.
Hammarby hope Of course, on other things:
– We will do everything to take it to a fifth and decisive. We have consistently shown that we can dance with Ystad, but we need to make a good match, says Pujol.
