« Young Song Authors Camp » – the way to the big scene
In Rūdiškės, Craft School « Garden Masters » – a kind of songwriter’s blacksmith – there will be plenty of creation. Longtime camp educators – singing actors Gediminas Storpirštis and Giedrius Arbačiauskas, actor and film director Darius Miniotas – will share their mastery and experience with young bards. All the activities of the camp focus on the professional creative process: creating music, improving instrument management skills, analysis of poetry and adaptation to music, text writing (individually or in a group), acquaintance with a professional scene. Not only camp participants and educators, but also guests of the day – professionals in their field (famous actors, musicians, poets, ethnomusicologists) are involved in the creative process.
The first song is born in the camp of young songwriters, the first poem is created, there is no shortage of discoveries and new creative friendships. The time spent in the camp is an invaluable experience and self -confidence.
Weekly work will traditionally be crowned with a public concert at Trakai Vokė Manor Homestead, which will take place on July 6th. 2pm Another joint performance of the camp participants is waiting for July 12th. on the big stage of the Bard Festival « Acacia Alley ».

The camp has raised well -known contemporary young performers, winners of the Saulius Mykolaitis Name Prize, who have their own fans – Milda and Teresė Andrijauskai, Živilė Mackevičiūtė, Valentinas Abaris, Aurimas Liudvinovičius, the vocalist Milda and Teresė Andrijauskai.
Light and productive time, carefully formed program, professional knowledge and advice, new dating and experiences that open up, horizons – all of this is an investment in creativity, disclosure and improvement of skills.
