Young Narvites showed excellent results at the Ida-Virumai athletics championship
On June 14, the Ida-Virumai athletics championship was held at the Yykhvi stadium.
The championship was attended by athletes from Sallamae, Kokhtla-Yarve, Yykhvi and Narva. Students of the Sports School « Paemurra » won many prizes in different age categories. Athletes won victories and medals in running, jumping, throwing and walking.
In the U14 class (born in 2012-2013) among boys, Alex Gusev became the winner in pushing the nucleus of 3 kg with a result of 11.19, in the throwing of the disk 0.75 kg (23.27), in a hammer of 3 kg (52.73). Evgeny Kryukov took the second place in the pushing of the nucleus (8.57), throwing the hammer (38.99) and the third place in the throwing of the disk (16.68).
In the U16 class (born in 2010-2011), among boys, Edward Orlov took second place in long jumps (4.53). In a hammer throw of 4 kg, Serafim Shemarin (49.57) won the victory. Egor Pchelkin (29.88) reached the second place, Yegor took third place in the pushing of the nucleus of 4 kg (8.55).
In the U18 class (born 2008-2009) Andrei Kolotkov won first place in running 100 m (12.0), in high jumps (1.70) and the second place in long jumps (5.28). Maxim Bolshakov was the best 5 kg in a hammer throw (54.10).
In the U20-23 (born 2006-2003) class, Martin Zabrodin took first place in a hammer throw of 6 kg (35.17).
In the U14 class (born in 2012-2013), Amelia Yarushin, among the girls, became a winner in 80 m running with barriers (14.76) and in length jumps (4.21), the second was 100 m (14.67) and pushing the nucleus of 2 kg (9.02), the third place took in the throwing of the spears (20.06). In 3000 m walking, Maria Smirnova (19,20.52) came, the second place was taken by Sonya Lent (20.20.43). Sofia Smirnova became the winner in pushing the nucleus of 2 kg (9.26), in the throwing of the disk (19.18) and the hammer of the hammer of 2 kg (33.60).
In the U18 class (born 2008-2009), Polina Dubik won two gold medals in 100 m running (13.70), in long jumps (4.87) and silver in a triple jump (10.88).
Among the girls U20-23 (2006-2003), Juliana Korkiainen, took first places in length (4.67), in a triple jump (10.75) and Karina Loginova in a spear throw (19.36) also took first place.
