Young Narva judokas distinguished themselves at international tournaments in Latvia and Estonia
From April 12 to 13, in the Latvian city of Aluxe, a judo tournament was held, gathered about 400 participants from Lithuania, Latvia, Armenia, Poland, Finland and Estonia. The Narva Sports School « Energia » adequately presented Estonia, having won nine medals, the school reports.
Evelina Rooshi (U18, +70 kg) and Aynikki Vedernikov (U15, -36 kg) were the gold winners. Silver medals were won by Arina Lisogor (U15, -52 kg) and again Aikniki Vedernikova (U15, -40 kg). Arseniy Zubarev (U18, -55 kg), Albina Stolyarova (U18, -57 kg and -63 kg), Aikiksi Vedernikova (U13, -36 kg) and Robert Voloshchuk (U15, -60 kg) received bronze.
In addition, on April 12, a judo tournament was held in the city of Nyo among young athletes in the age categories U8 (born in 2018 and younger), U10 (2016–2017), U12 (2014–2015) and U14 (2012–2013). The competition was attended by 233 young judokas.
