A woman fell victim to an attempted rape on Sunday evening while walking in the park of Vorst with her baby. She writes that on social media and is confirmed by the Brussels public prosecutor's office. « It will take me time to live back normally. »
The woman writes on Facebook that she was attacked on Sunday evening around 7.30 pm by a man in the park of Vorst. “He took me past in a stranglehold, attacked me physically and kept touching me despite the shouting of me and my baby. I was able to escape by giving him a knee -pocket and immediately asked for help from passers -by. «
In her story, the woman thanks the passers -by who helped her. “I am currently safe, but I am still shocked about what happened. During the forty minutes I had to wait for the police, I was taken very well taken care of by passers -by. They gave me a safe feeling during that period. «
To give evidence
The woman also calls for witnesses and quotes that the complaints center for sexual violence was completely full on Sunday evening. « This is a systemic problem that must be tackled collectively. »
