The victim's glasses were destroyed and he sustained minor injuries after being hit directly in the face. The incident, which took place on February 28 this year, prompted the authorities to immediately bring a case against the 'prankster'.

Fabrice Boutet, CEO of Société d'Aménagement Touristique d'Alpe d'Huez (SATA), who runs the ski lift in question, local media told them that they immediately filed a review.

« We met the victim, who was a very friendly man who has an apartment nearby and who spent his vacation with his family in the ski resort. I think this kind of behavior should be punished, » he said.
