The Youth Bonus is an impact aimed at employers to encourage hires of Under 35 and consists of the exemption from the payment of 100% of social security contributions for a maximum of 24 months, to the exclusion of inail prizes and contributions, for the hiring with an indefinite contract or transformation of the fixed -term contract into a permanent contract. The INPS on 12 May has published a circular in which it clarifies the operating methods of the bonus and to start from May 16 on the Institute website the form to apply is available.

What is the young bonus

The support was provided for by the Law Decree 60/24, converted, with amendments, by law 95/2024 with the aim of increasing stable youth employment and provides for the exemption from the payment of contributions to employers in relation to the new permanent hires and the transformations of subordinate employment contracts from a fixed -term permanent time made between 1 September 2024 and 31 December 2025.

Which contracts applies to

The young bonus, as INPS explains, applies to all private employers and concerns hires of workers who cover the qualification of workers, employees or paintings, with the exclusion of personnel with managerial qualification. Domestic work contracts and apprenticeship reports remain excluded from the benefit, for which the application of social security rates is already envisaged.

What are the requirements

To obtain the contribution exemption, the hiring must concern subjects who, on the date of the intake or transformation encouraged, have not completed the thirty -fifth year of age and have never been employed indefinitely during their working life.

How much is the « young bonuses »

The measure of the incentive is 100% of the total social security contributions to be paid by employers, within a maximum limit of 500 euros per month for each worker. The incentive rises to 650 euros per month per worker, in the event of hiring in the Single Zes area of ​​the South.

When and how to apply

To obtain the facilitation, the employer is needed to ask. In the form, which will be available online from May 16, the employers must indicate the identification data of the company, those that identify the worker against whom the employment/transformation could intervene or intervene, the type of employment contract (if full -time or part -time or part time) and the possible hourly percentage percentage, the amount of the monthly average remuneration that will be paid, including the installments of thirteenth and Fourteenth month, as well as the amount of the rate contributed given to the employment relationship. They must also indicate the Region and the Province of effective execution of the work performance. « With specific reference to the Oncero referred to in article 22, paragraph 1, of the cohesion decree – reads the INPS circular – it is specified that the application for recognition of the measure can be sent both for the hiring/transformations already carried out and for the relationships not yet established ».
