You will get over 200m euros subsidy, out of the 32 million you get today
Sali Berisha has promised farmers that if the DP wins the May 11 elections, they will receive over 200m euros of subsidies. He made the comments during his speech at a meeting with citizens in Fier, where he said that today farmers receive 32m euros in subsidies. He also guaranteed that the open Balkan project will end up in the trash bin the first week of the DP government.

My friends, I am here to guarantee the wonderful farmers of Myzeqe and the whole county that the support of the future government for you will be fivefold. That is, today you get 32 million euros of subsidies, you will receive over 200 million euros of subsidy for each seedling, for each unit of production, for each cattle head.
I guarantee that the open Balkans will end up in the trash bin the first week of our government. And that you, working people, will have a different climate of success. The government, for those of you who hire 500,000 Albanians, for you who give 20 percent of production, will return the money to you. Soft loans with 80 percent of government -covered interest is our commitment.
70 million euros will be spent annually on irrigation, drainage, land protection. Your products will have seasonal protection. Made in Albania is our pride, your products will be our pride. Extension services will be free, government covered. And I give the word here today that the government will not only defend, but will do everything for the creation of markets in the region, in Europe and in the world for Albanian products.
Every farmer, let Sali Berisha ask today, ask Gazment Bardhi, but why do we do this? We do nothing else just to return the money you, the money we get to the farmers. We do nothing else just put them, people of work and sweat at a starting start as the farmers of Macedonia, Kosovo and Serbia.
Oil will have an identical subsidy with that of these countries. And oil will no longer sell at the price plus/minus 10 percent from the price difference in Macedonia and Kosovo. Edi Rama receives for every liter of oil from your pockets 1.1 euros. The fiscal load on oil will be the same as Kosovo and Macedonia. So we will be right with you and do everything for the success of your farms, for agribusiness complexes.
