You only nest so nicely in Vienna – Diepresse.com
The duo Lusterboden makes Viennese pop music in an intimate way. Florian Klingler and Merlin Miglinci avoid dialect in favor of the « Schönbrunnerian », also at the festival mixed sentence.
Mei Gschropp Redt Wia a Piefke ”, a few years ago, brought Andreas Putz, the mastermind of the combo Gebrüder, to the point, which has been causing many for a long time. The idiom of Viennese is once again in danger. First of all, it was in the barrage of the Wenzel-Lüdecke film synchronization, then the Deutschrap milled into the local language culture. How Ernst Molden and Willi Resetaritsbut also the deep dialect of local hip-hopers like Kreiml & Samurai. And even the now almost exotic language island of the enjoyed « Schönbrunnerian » can report young people: lust floor, a refreshing duo, writes songs that simply celebrated the g’spray in a subtle way.
It is no coincidence that the curators Andreas Schett and Christian Seiler have now invited to play the sentence in the Vienna Konzerthaus at the Probable Festival at the beginning of May. The basis of the desires was probably a Lusterboden debut album « Fall on Vienna », an entertaining song collection, the Meidlinger romances, the pedal booting on the Old Danube and of course also the end of the world. In a song, the two postulate that the earth in Vienna turns slower than elsewhere.
Merlin Miglinci, the « most Viennese Wiener »
Florian Klingler says of his musical partner that he is the « most Viennese Wiener » he knows. He himself currently speaks a delicate nasal, forced High German because he was in training at Schönbrunn close to the Schönbrunn Max Reinhardt seminar is. « Merlin was once in Berlin. His summary was simple: well, » says Klingler. Merlin Miglinci, the second man in the group, explains. « There is too much going on for me. I don’t need to be able to buy vegetables on Sunday at three in the morning. The roller shutters are often down in Vienna. And that’s a good thing. My grandpas are a role model to live at the moment. I don’t want to go to the stress ‘Derstessn’. I prefer to tackle it comfortably. »
« Fall on Vienna » is a strange album. Hardly any song takes more than three minutes. The boys had composed their debut at the age of 15. Now they are 22 and 23 years old and have been making music together for ten years. Both play the piano and guitar and push each other up.
The two got to know each other in the Vienna Burgtheater, as Miglinci told. « The Flo and I have already played a lot of theater at school. We both went to a casting for ‘Pünktchen and Anton’. We were both taken. The Flo played the Anton, I was a clepper leg, the evil adversary. During this time we rehearsed on the lust floor of the Burgtheater for months. We were missing a lot at school during the waiting. » And the band name was found.
The two mutually take on the role of the antagonist in the process of making music. Just like John Lennon and Paul McCartney, with whom the two do not want to compare each other, they improve each other. Everyone is corrective for the other. « We show each other our pieces to find out whether there is something on it, » says Klingler. Miglinci seconded: « The Flo is a critical person. I think that’s very good. With his help, I can then reliably improve the respective song. »
« Fall on Vienna » is not a classic Viennese song album, but rather pop à la viennoise. The Viennese gesture is given through the topics and through intonation. There are reasons for this turn to the local. « The Merlin comes from the Schrammel brothers, » jubilates Klingler. Miglinci takes something. « Johann Schrammel is my great -great -grandfather. So the Wienerlied played a big role for me in my childhood. My grandpa, which was also called Johann, always picked me up from kindergarten. And played Wienerlied on the piano of my mother almost every day. That was very formative. He was also a big operetta lover and brought Franz Léhar’s beautiful melodies closer to me. » And he was an incentive for his own discovering on the 88 buttons. « Since I was six years old, I was in the music school and had to play for grades there. I said, no, try it like the grandpa, feel your hearing. And so I quickly got to work out my own. »
Klingler was also recorded in childhood by the so -called of the Urwienian. « The Georg Kreisler Was the best friend of my grandpa. When I was small, he was often with my grandparents. That was certainly a big influence on me. » And now they are afraid that their music might be too big, because Klingler is actually aiming for a acting career, while Miglinci is studying environmental biora management at the BOKU.
Second album by Lusterboden: « Fall in Vienna »
Nevertheless, the two are taking up their second album with the Bibiza guitarist Enzo Gaier, which is scheduled to come onto the market in June. After the first album, the base of the lust have become a little lazy. « We made an album and, after our concert in the edition in the porcelain, had the feeling that we had made it. But then more and more concert inquiries came over the year. We said: Let us get started. »
The response to the new songs was quite great during past appearances. Nevertheless, they will rely on the patinated song of « Fall on Vienna » at the mixed sentence. One of her most catchy songs on it is « naked Danzer », a dream of the poetic way.
“A friend gave me a poster with the naked Georg Danzer Gifted, « says Klingler. » I hung that on the door, right next to my pianino. Late in the night I imagined how it would be if the Danzer got out of the picture and we would make music together. » Klingler sings « still without ulcer » from a Danzer. That sounds a little blatant, but is not meant that way. « It’s a tribute. Probably he would like such a wording because she is honest. »
