Yana Toom: the Center Party will challenge the decision of the State Court in the European Court
The Central Party is going to appeal the indictment of the State Court in the European Court of Human Rights not in order to cancel the sentence, but in order to wash the reputation, said the vice-chairman of the Center Party, Yana Toom on the air of the program “Epicenter”. Party Chairman Mikhail Kylvart confirmed Errthat the party consults with lawyers, and the decision will be made after legal analysis.
“I personally do not consider myself guilty. It seems to me that the situation is absurd when 12,000 people are declared guilty. We do not agree with this verdict and, after long thoughts, decided that we would challenge it in Europe, ”said TOOM on the ETV+air.
“We will go further, but the court decision entered into force and consists in depriving us of state funding. This is written in Black and Belarusian decision: “We will finish this party with that kind of money so that the party could not engage in political activities for some time,” Tom said.
Yana Toom explained that the party plans to appeal to the European court not with the aim of canceling the decision of the Estonian court. “We will pay a fine. Our goal is to restore the reputation, and I am sure that we will succeed, ”Tom said.
