Xhelal Mziu and his nephew rape the official after the DP election meeting. The case passes the spak
The first electoral incident is marked on the eve of the May 11 parliamentary elections. DP political leader in Dibra district, Xhelal Mziu and his nephew EM, are found to have raped a 33-year-old, resident in Shupenza and an employee of the Ostren administrative unit. The incident happened yesterday, April 24, 2025, in the village of Ostren in Bulqiza, following an electoral meeting held by the Democratic Party.
Police report that the two suspects have punched the young K. Murra, inside the Ostren Administrative Unit. After reporting the incident, specialists for investigating crimes at the Bulqiza Police Commissariat have referred the materials to the SPAK.

Bulqiza/Specialists for Investigating the Crimes of the Bulqiza Police Commissariat referred to the materials in the SPAK for the offense of “Threatening or Rape against Election Participants” for citizens Xh. M., 58 years old and EM, 36 years old, uncle and nephew, both residents of Tirana, because around 13:00 dated 24.04.2025, after an electoral meeting held by the political entity « Democratic Party » in the village of Ostren, allegedly hit with punches, KM, 33 years old in Shupenz.
