Would kill Donald Trump and Elon Musk
A 32-year-old butler, Pennsylvania, has been charged with having made threats of violence and murders against a number of prominent people in the United States, including President Donald Trump.
According to the news agency Reuters, the US Ministry of Justice said.
The threats were made online at the 32-year-old’s YouTube channel in the period from February to April.
Here, among other things, the man should have expressed a desire to kill Trump, tech entrepreneur Elon Musk as well as leaders and employees of several federal agencies, including immigration and customs enforcement.
« We just have to start killing people, Trump, Elon (Musk, ed.), All the chiefs of the agencies Trump has appointed, and everyone standing in the way, » the man wrote.
The man has not yet made an official explanation in the case, but is expected to be brought before a judge on Monday.
Here it will also be assessed whether he should be remanded in custody during the further investigation.
The case has received further attention because it relates to the city of Butler – the same city where an attack on Donald Trump took place in July.
During a voter meeting, Trump was hit by a strike shot on the ear when 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire.
A firefighter lost his life and two other spectators were seriously injured. Crooks were subsequently killed by Secret Service agents on site.
