Would be suspended for foreign currency -related executions and evictions

« Last year, 670,000 people were in the process of implementing, but I can’t say how much of the foreign currency loan, » said András Jámbor, an independent MP, who submitted a bill on the suspension of foreign currency-based enforcement procedures on May 5, which was also joined by Ákos Hadházy.
This was due because on April 30, the European Court of Justice stated that the rules on exchange rate risk of foreign currency-based loans and leasing contracts, which could increase the installments double or triple, do not comply with EU consumer protection guidelines.
The aim of the bill is to introduce a general ban on implementation and evictions due to the final resolution of foreign currency-wounds in accordance with EU directives, according to parliamentary representatives.
They added that the ban would last as long as the legislator did not settle the situation and the legislation does not comply with EU consumer protection guidelines. In the meantime, no one of the foreign currency injured should take execution steps and that no one can be evicted.
If the amendment is adopted by the Parliament, the day following the publication of the Curia, some parts of the Act on the Settlement of the Legal Unit of Consumer Loan Agreements, as well as the amendment of the Act on the Rules of Accounting and the Act on Consumer Loan Agreements and the Act on the Rules
On the basis of the proposal, the execution of the executive is now setting out the execution of the implementing procedure and will issue a protocol, which will be delivered to the parties and other stakeholders. According to the proposal, the suspension would not be attached to the ongoing enforcement objections, the withdrawal of the enforcement form, the cancellation of the enforcement clause, the evaluation of partial procedures for the implementation of the enforcement, or the interruption or completion of implementation.
« I joined András Jámbor because it draws attention to a thing of such a thing that made it my moral duty to get along with the matter, » said Ákos Hadházy. At the same time, neither he nor András Jámbor considers it likely that the government will support the bill and will be voted on by Parliament. It is believed that the government will only enter into a regulation of EU expectations if it is under high social pressure.
– But it is important that the matter get into the public consciousness and people know about the EU court ruling. According to which the Hungarian courts should act, but the really big question is how the Court’s Legal Council will interpret the decision made outside.
