Women’s bonus, how the contribution exemption of 650 euros works: that’s who he has the right

From 16 May, employers will be able to submit the application for the « women bonus ». A new exemption from the payment of 100% of the social security contributions to be paid by employers, for a maximum period of 24 monthsin relation to permanent hires, carried out by 31 December 2025, of women « disadvantaged workers ». Women bonuses: the requirements

The contribution exemption concerns women of any age who, on the date of hiring, comply with one of the following requirements: have been without a regularly paid job for at least 24 months, They are without a regularly paid job for at least six months and are residents in the regions of the special economic area for the South, they are disadvantaged as they carry out professions or work activities in economic sectors characterized by an accentuated gender employment disparity. Domestic and apprenticeship employment contracts are excluded from the benefit.

The limits

The exemption is recognized for a maximum duration of 24 months from the hiring, within the limit of 650 euros per month per worker, provided that the subsidized hires involve a net employment increase calculated on the basis of the difference between the number of workers employed in each month, and the number of workers on average under the twelve previous months.

In the ZES facilitated only the new hires

For women without a regularly paid job for at least 24 months everywhere residents and employed in professions or sectors characterized by an accentuated gender employment disparity, the employer can request the bonus both for the hires already carried out, and for the relationships not yet established.
