The woman (36) who was arrested on Tuesday in an investigation into the death of a man (36) was released in the nature reserve of the Oudsberg in Opglabbeek. The investigating judge decided that on the basis of her interrogation and the autopsy report.
The 36-year-old woman was arrested on Tuesday morning after she had alerted the emergency services earlier that morning. She called around 5.30 am from a mini-parking at the De Oudsberg nature reserve in Opglabbeek that the 36-year-old man who was with her had done something to her.
Upon arrival of the ambulance officers and MUG-Arts, they took over the CPR attempts of the woman, but the help could no longer benefit. The man had a serious wound and collapsed on the spot. The scenario for unusual deaths was then started. A legislator and the judicial lab arrived and investigated the precise circumstances of the death.
No preparation
After the first findings of the investigation, there were question marks that had to be cleared further. For example, there was doubt about the possible involvement of the woman who had called for help. She was arrested and taken to the police station for an interrogation. In the meantime, the Limburg public prosecutor was progressing an investigating judge.
Normally the 36-year-old arrestant would be brought before Wednesday, but that was not necessary in the end. The investigating judge decided on the basis of the interrogation and the autopsy report not to lead her, after which she was released.
Police Carma does continue the investigation under the leadership of the investigating judge.
