Within two weeks, half of patients treated abroad are expected to return to the country
Government spokeswoman Venus Latifi Azizi said at a news conference this afternoon that the latest data from hospitals will be inscribed 16 patients who were treated in the country and will continue at home. He points out that half of the patients who are being treated abroad will be returned to our country within two weeks, which, as he said, is taking all necessary steps to continue their adequate treatment.
A government spokeswoman said 116 patients are currently being treated abroad. Eight of them is expected to return and continue treatment in the country this week.
-Meanwhile, the condition of some patients remains serious. Four of those abroad are in critical condition, but we do everything to provide the necessary treatment and hope for their improvement. In addition to hospital care, as part of long -term care we have provided a team of surgeons who will remain in Kocani to support patients treated at home by avoiding their strenuous trips to clinics. The Stip hospital also has four surgeons who will be in constant communication to support patients – she said.
Latifi Azizi emphasized that health institutions are maximally committed to providing quality treatment and complete rehabilitation for all patients.
A government spokeswoman noted that the investigation into this serious event continues with full commitment and co -operation between responsible institutions.
