Just as in the second half of last year in the second half of April in Alsunga this time the trail runners were welcomed by a very cool morning, only this time with a much thicker snow and a strong wind. As a result, the organizers were a big challenge in the devastation of many nerve cells, but unlike Winston Churchill, who resigned from British prime minister, 79 years ago, did not give up and led to the end.

In the middle of the day, the weather improved, and those who were not afraid became the most extreme members of the Stirnu Buka in these twelve seasons. Many did not do it after the result, but others still listened to the call for a moment to stop at the top of the hill, take a deep breath and enjoy the beauty of the forests of Latvian nature and dumps, this time with a white snow blanket, which had a different shade of the last half of the runners. « Stirnu Buck ».

In the longest 27km « Garmin Lusis », the group leader Kristaps Berzins continued to win a series of over 260 participants from Stage 4 last year, who was so big that the four -time Latvian champion was able to relax slightly in the marathon, giving a post -finalist interview. This time, the second finished with a strong Frenchman with a good rating, or 760 ITR points, Geremy Pecura, who after the finish also had a small interview in French. Just like last season in sunny Saulkrasti, Kristaps Chekhovich started with third place in these snowy forests, who was also third in the famous and difficult wolf marathon.

Women, without starting the two leading runners Anette Schwill and Agate Armane, as well as the strong Linda Boldane, celebrated the win in the final round of the final season in the final round, Aiga Taulina.
