Will affect all Danes’ electricity bill
The future is electric – and now it may also be a little cheaper. The Danes must replace the oil -fired with heat pump and the petrol car with electric car, whose green transition is to seriously bat.
But all that requires one thing: power. And lots of it.
Therefore, from next year, Energinet will cut down on the electricity tariffs – ie the fees we all pay to get the power transported out to the outlet. The price gets a downhill up to 10 percent, and then a lid is put on until 2030, so that the bill does not run off again.
It writes Energinet in one press release.
Normally, the tariffs are set year by year, depending on what it costs to operate and maintain the nationwide electricity grid. But in order to create peace and predictability, especially for companies, heat plants and the industry, Energinet is now proposing an extraordinary four -year ceiling. The goal is to get more people to jump into electrification – without fear of unexpected award.
« We lower the tariffs by up to 10 percent in the first year, and for the next three years they must not increase. This ensures that, for example, companies, heat plants and other energy consumers can better look in the future and thus gain greater security for their investments in electrification, » says Søren Dupont Kristensen, Operations Director at Energinet.
