Wild with dance-star withdrew on live TV: Now the drama is exploding

Since the Norwegian version of ‘Wild with dance ‘ By 2022, the screen ran in a special All Stars edition, expectations were towering.

Former participants returned to compete for the honor once again, and among them found YouTuber and TV host Victor Sotberg, who was paired with dancer Philip Raabe. But behind the scenes there were far from glitter and good chemistry if you ask Sotberg.

« Mainly because of him I danced with. It wasn’t a good match, » says Sotberg, who experienced that his partner did not want to dance with him at all.

According to him, it culminated in a performance where the couple had to end for pan, but reportedly withdrew at the last minute under live TV:

« It was so cringe, it doesn’t work. »

Sotberg suggests that different sexual orientation may have played a role in the strained dynamic, and calls it understandable if it was stressful of shouting. However, that interpretation rejects the professional dancer blankly.

Philip Raabe has in a response to Norwegian ‘See and hear ‘ expressed great annoyance at hearing the accusations several years after, and not while the recordings were on.

He explains that the aforementioned forehead should not end up in a kiss and that he withdrew when he felt that Sotberg was leaning towards someone they had otherwise agreed to avoid.

At the same time, Raabe emphasizes that he has previously wanted a male partner because dance for him is about trust and chemistry, not gender.
