Lednica is an annual religious and cultural event organized since 1997 in the Lednica fields, near Gniezno and Poznań. This meeting gathers young people and adults from all over Poland, and its goal is to promote Christian values, joint prayer and integration of participants.

On Saturday (June 7) as part of the XXIX Youth Meeting of Lednica 2000, over 20,000 gathered in the Lednica fields. young people. In the evening, however, the event was interrupted in connection with the weather breakdown. According to Gazeta.pl, the evacuation of participants was ordered, who ordered to leave the Lednica fields and move to coaches.
– I am asking you to take your things. Due to your security, we are forced to order the evacuation of the field. We are asking you to listen to the services, follow their instructions.
