Why should we pay the MPs with full salary?
By Ylli Manjani:
If I had it in hand, seeing how it came to parliament’s work in part time. I would pay for the MPs, ie with working days, for participating in parliamentary activities.
At least like the Swiss Parliament.
It makes no sense to pay someone full time just because we are a deputy. And since it is such it has to be high. Helbete is high in state hierarchy.
But super high salary to do no work, not even the deputy’s work, there is no. There may have been based on any possible logic.
The state has many officials working from morning to morning and are paid much less than the MP who stays in vain from morning. A police officer, like a minister, pay less than the MP while working 24 hours a day.
But within the state hierarchy, the MP’s financial treatment is not fair. Let’s then add here the privileges and other special treatments.
So I say, at least you condition the reward with the participation and the contribution to the job.
Let the rest of the time work in their usual jobs, in the day to do any other job … That this too is a different problem, we have MPs who do not do any other job in life …
Therefore, political bosses are loyal. Where does the boss today give you 3000 euros of salary a month without doing any work?!
