Why are there frost in May? The IMGW synoptic explains whether this is normal

Wrocław, on the other hand, experiences positive temperature anomalies. IMGW has issued warnings against frost for most voivodships.

Frosts in May 2025

On Tuesday in the south of the country it will be cloudy, and poor rainfall is forecast in the southeast and north. In the mountains, especially at the tops of the Tatra Mountains, it can fall to 2 cm of snow. The temperatures during the day will range from 6 to 10 degrees Celsius in the south and sea, and in the center and in the west up to 16 degrees.

At night, cloudy will be small and moderate, except for the south-eastern ends, where it can be large. The minimum temperatures will be from minus 2 degrees in the south to 5 degrees by the sea. The wind will be poor, moderate in places, from the northern and north-east.
