Who steals the show 2025: participants in season 9
At the center of « Who steals the show to me? » If – as the name of the show already reveals – there is a rather unconventional competition: prominent guests are fighting to « steal » Joko the moderation of his own show.
Every show evening is a duel between Joko and its guests, with the prominent round, which previously consisted of comedians, actors, musicians or influencers, in various games and tasks. The various rounds are about physical fitness, knowledge, speed and, above all, humor. Guests have to demonstrate their talents in a wide variety of categories in order to be able to achieve the goal of replacing Joko as a moderator.

In season 9 « Who steals the show to me? » are again three prominent guests. This year is: Heike Makatsch, Rea Garvey and Teddy Tecebrhan. The latter may already be known to the show, since he was part of the star ensemble in the second season of the show. In addition, as before in every episode, a wildcard will be part of the show and will try to tear the moderation itself.

Heike Makatsch
1971 was Heike Makatsch Born in Düsseldorf. After a broken degree and a graduate apprenticeship as a tailor, she decided to try her luck while watching TV. At the transmitter Viva she was lucky and got a job as a moderator. She quickly became a fixture on television, then she achieved her first film role in the « men’s pension » strip. From there, their importance grew in the film scene, both nationally and internationally. She played in German films like: « Am I beautiful? », « Margarete Steiff », « Hilde » or « I have never been in New York ». In the international market, they are known from productions such as « actually … love » or « Resident Evil ».
Rea Garvey
Raymond Michael Garveywas born in Ireland in 1973 in Tralee. Garvey gained initial musical experiences as the front man of the Dublin band The Reckless Pedestrian. In 1998 he finally emigrated to Germany without being able to German. In Upper Swabia, Rea Garvey initially came to friends. He earned his livelihood as a T-shirt seller and roadie at music festivals. At the same time, he was looking for members for a band. The band Reamonn then emerged from the search, which ended up in the German charts with the song « Supergirl » in 2000. Rea Garvey was also active as a solo artist during his time at Reamonn. Among other things, he wrote the text for « Sweetest Poison », the debut single of the casting band nu Pagadi from the ProSieben-Show « Popstars ». The IRE also contributed two songs to the soundtrack of the “Barfuss” movie with Til Schweiger. In addition to his career as a musician, Garvey also made a name for himself on TV. He was part of shows such as « Our Star for Oslo », « The Voice of Germany » or « The Masked Singer ».
Teddy Tecebrhan

As a child, Teddy dreamed of becoming an actor. But after the secondary school leaving certificate, he went to Canada for a few months, where he lived with his aunt. He then made his first experience in the film in 2006 with the short film « Beles », after which he visited the Cratering Academy of Academy in Stuttgart until 2008. From then on, Teddy kept appearing on television, but he made his breakthrough with the « teddy show ». From then on, the comedian developed different characters that he used for his stage programs, the show and his videos.
The wildcard
In addition to the three recurring star guests, there are « who steals the show to me? » A wildcard that can also try to get Joko’s job. For this role, spectators can apply in every season who believe that they have what it takes to be a winner and moderator. The potential wildcards are cast by the production company, so that it steals the show for me per issue of « Who steals the show? » gives a new participant. If a wildcard succeeds in winning the respective show, he or she will of course take over the moderation of the next issue.
