Only institutions that are certified to accept students and visitors to exchange (SEWP) can issue the necessary visa documents.

This means that Harvard, if not complying with the requirements within 72 hours, will no longer be able to enroll students from abroad.

International students who are already studying at Harvard will be forced to move to another university or lose their right to stay in the country.

According to the University, last academic year, more than 6,700 international students studied at Harvard, which is 27.2 percent of the total number of students.
