White House defined the « true reason » for the origin of Covid-19
The White House has a special page entitled « Laboratory Disadment », which presents the « true source » of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The new page replaces the previous covid.gov, which provided information on how people to fight the virus, where access to free tests, where to treat and where vaccines are administered.
The « leakage » version of the Chinese Laboratory in AMAN is also contained in the report of Congress Republicans from 2024 (the President’s website recommends it). But the US intelligence community still has no firm opinion in this direction. Four intelligence agencies and a national intelligence panel support the theory that the virus first infected humans through animal transmission.
Covid-19 was « expired » from a lab? What did the newspapers actually write in Germany actually
After the death of nearly 1 million Americans, the « laboratory » hypothesis has also been rejected by many virologists. But they lost the war on public opinion – about two -thirds of the Americans believe the pandemic began with a leak from a laboratory in China. In fact, there is no evidence that the Sars-Cov-2, the virus behind the pandemic, was in a laboratory before the outburst.
In January, the new CIA leadership said it was believed that the version of the Coronavirus Sars-Cov-2 created by the laboratory was probably created by the laboratory. A few years earlier, the agency said there was insufficient data to draw conclusions about the causes of the virus. Both the US and the World Health Organization claim that Beijing continues to not provide all the data to help with an indisputable conclusion.
The page presents arguments such as:
- The virus has biological characteristics « that are not found in nature »
- All cases of Covid-19 infection are from one source, while in previous pandemics there were multiple sources
- The « leading Chinese research laboratory for SARS » is the « leading Chinese research lab », which works « under inadequate conditions for bio -relief »
- Employees at the Institute of Virology in AMAN have developed Covid -like symptoms in the fall of 2019, months before the virus is found in a food market
- If there was evidence of the natural origin of the virus, they would have appeared so far, but not.
The same five reasons were included in the report published last year by Republicans from the House of US Representatives, the Washington Post notes. The White House site also reiterates the report that the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Anthony Facuchi « defends the preferred theory that Covid-19 has occurred naturally. »
Amesh Adalya, a doctor for infectious diseases and a senior scientist at the Jones Hopkins Health Security Center, criticized the White House to eliminate information and said the origin of the pandemic remains an open question. « The Trump administration rewrites part of history and shaped Covid-19 as a political event, » he said.
American scientists have taken a Nobel for medicine for the discovery of a micro
Brad Westrup, a former Ohio Congressman, who was the leading Republican watching the coronavirus investigation in the House Supervision Group of Representatives, has continued to insist that there is hidden information from the Chinese, the US government and many scientists around the world. He has now been appointed by Trump to the White House Intelligence Board.
The disputes surrounding the origin of the Covid-19 were heavily politicized by Republicans and Trump and became one of the instruments of criticism, threats and pursuit of supporters of the « natural » hypothesis, especially Facuchi. Almost as soon as he joined the White House, the president canceled his security guards. |
This is also one of the reasons for the rapid reduction of Americans’ trust in public health agencies and the people who run them – again with a division passing by party lines. 86% of Democrats said they trust Facuchi about the information on coronavirus vaccines provided, compared to only 25% of Republicans, according to a April 2022 study by KFF.
The share of the Centers for Control and Prevention of Diseases for « Excellent » or « Good » dropped from 64% in April 2019 to 40% in October 2021 and remained at this level in the next three years, according to Gallup surveys, despite the efforts of Biden’s administration to restore confidence.
