White ambulances disappear from Warsaw streets. The reason is prosaic
12 new yellow ambulances with the best equipment available on the European market have been sent to the Warsaw ambulance. Therefore, white ambulances will disappear from the capital streets. PAP points out that the ambulances of the Provincial Ambulance Station and Sanitary Transport « Meditrans » SPZOZ in Warsaw cover almost 3.8 million kilometers annually. This means that they are exploited to the limit and must be replaced often.

The ceremony of transferring ambulances closes a period in the 128-year history of the ambulance in Warsaw. From the State Emergency Medical System in our operating region, white ambulances in white, which accompanied us for several dozen years. From today, only yellow ZRM works in our operating region

The new ambulances are equipped with an electric stretcher and a device for disinfecting air and ambulance surfaces. They cost over PLN 8 million and will go to Wola, Ochota, Ursynów, Bemowo, Białołęka, to Pruszków, Piaseczno, Ujazdów, Mokotów, Targówek and Otwock.
In addition, we are pioneers, because we were the first in Poland to meet the requirements of the Regulation of the Minister of Health of 2023, which imposes on disposers the obligation to introduce to the system State Emergency Medical Emergency Ambulances in yellow until 31.12.2030.
