An overview of the top companies that succeeded with the projects.
Eurofunds have been an important topic in Slovakia in recent days. This was also contributed to by the Delegation of the Committee of the European Parliament for Budget Control to check the management of European funds in the past.
The index looked at what and for what projects the Agricultural Paying Agency (PPA) approved in May this year. Based on the data, we have compiled a dozen largest beneficiaries from the private sector.
While farmers have received the promise of generous subsidies, the way to them may not be automatic. The condition is that the beneficiary terminates all activities by the end of June this year.
This is related to the completion of the Eurofund programming period. On the other hand, all companies in the documents state that they have been preparing their projects for several years.

The tenth largest subsidy in May 2025 has joined the PPA Branko Nitra, which project for almost 1.3 million euros. Up to half of this amount will be reimbursed by the state in the form of a refund.
The largest amount is to be directed to the purchase of automatic nests. Almost 850,000 euros are earmarked in the budget. The company also wants to buy a dieselgregate and air conditioning.
Branko Nitra specializes in turkey breeding and according to the register of public sector partners is the end user of the benefits of Marek Horváth.
