Where nine -graders choose a simplified surrender of OGE for admission to colleges

The opportunity that appeared this year to pass only two OGE for admission to colleges is very popular among nine -graders, depending on the region. In the Lipetsk region, I found out “Kommersant”, half of the graduates took advantage of the new option. In Moscow – more than 34% of nine -graders. In order for everyone to have enough space, the capital’s authorities decided to increase the number of budget places in colleges by almost 6 thousand. In St. Petersburg, they decided to take two exams less than 10% of nine-graders.

From May 21 to June 16, the main stage of the OGE takes place, more than 1.6 million people participate in it this year. Graduates of the ninth grades to receive a certificate pass the obligatory Russian language and mathematics and two more items to choose from. In Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Lipetsk region this year, experimental rules for the first time apply. Within the framework of the pilot project, nine -graders from these regions are enough to pass two exams (Russian and mathematics) to get a certificate if they are going to study in secondary special educational institutions (SPO). Those who are going to study in the tenth grade, as before, pass four exams.

Under the terms of the experiment, the local authorities have the right to determine the minimum AGE points necessary for admission to high school, and to establish which particular exams should be taken depending on the learning profile. Moreover, for graduates of local schools a separate competition for budget places is held. How exactly the process of admission to the SPO will be carried out, each region identified independently in its by -laws.

The most relevant, I found out “Kommersant”, the new proposal turned out to be for the Lipetsk schoolchildren: there, two graduates took advantage of the opportunity to hand over the two OGE instead of four. The press service of the Kommersant’s regional Ministry of Education said that, according to preliminary data, more than 6 thousand nine-graders out of 12 thousand secondary school this year were submitted for the passage of two exams. In local colleges, 7.7 thousand budget places were allocated for the next academic year, so all schoolchildren who have passed two exams will be able to unlearn the SPO for free. From local acts it follows that it will be taken to colleges in the Lipetsk region on the basis of the average certificate point, but the results of the OGE will be taken into account if the average points of the certificate coincided with applicants.

The Department of Education and Science of Moscow (Donm) “Kommersant” reported that 40 thousand metropolitan schoolchildren were submitted for the delivery of two OGE. They could do this until May 15 at Mos.ru. Given that in the city there are 116 thousand ninth graders, 34.5% of graduates interested in the possibility of simplified admission to college. This exceeded the initial plans of the Moscow authorities. In mid -April, Donm published data on the distribution of budget places in OTO institutions on the 2025/26 academic year (see Kommersant on April 10), from which it followed that 38.2 thousand budget places were allocated to the nearest reception campaign to the capital’s colleges. “Given such an interest in the capital’s schoolchildren in SPO, it was decided to increase the number of budget places in city colleges to 43 thousand, in order to get secondary vocational education, all coming graduates of the ninth grades,” Kommersant told Kommersant after counting all statements. The Moscow authorities in by -laws recorded in detail how many budget places in colleges should go to the metropolitan students, and the selection in them will not be carried out according to the certificate competition, as before, but by the AGE points. The selection in tenth grades will occur according to the rules that each school will set independently.

The least popular measure was for St. Petersburg nine -graders. The local Kommersant Committee reported that, according to preliminary data, out of 56 thousand graduates of the application for the delivery of two OGE, only 4.3 thousand people were submitted, that is, approximately 7.7%. Unlike other regions, in St. Petersburg to be accepted in college with two OGE only in selected directions. There are 19 of them in total, including cooks, welders, shipbuilders, electrical installers and master of finishing work. It will be possible to unlearn them only in 29 out of 115 colleges. For other directions, you will need to take four OGE, as before. Earlier, vice-governor Irina Potekhina on social networks actively urged graduates and their parents to think whether they should take two exams. “If you are not sure of choosing or still think of continuing training in the tenth grade, pass four exams,” wrote Mrs. Potekhina. St. Petersburg also turned out to be the only one of the three regions where the local authorities decided to lower the threshold of the AGE points compared to the federal standard. So, for the three in mathematics, the St. Petersburg nine -graders will have enough 6 points, and not 8 out of 31 points; In the Russian language – 14, and not 15 out of 37. The selection in tenth grades here also intends to carry out on the basis of the results of the OGE, but how exactly to form rating lists, each school will determine on its own.
