Where (for) does which minister work? – Diepresse.com

The government of ÖVP, SPÖ and Neos has a chancellor, 13 ministers and seven state secretaries. On April 2, eleven of them have to go to the Hofburg again to get their final agendas. The question arises: who is now responsible for what? And: where do you have your offices?

The current coalition of ÖVP, SPÖ and NEOS consists of 21 people. It was praised on March 3 by Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen. But not complete. Two of them were praised « without portfolio », others with the agendas of their predecessors. A fact that will be corrected on April 2 when you are invited to the Hofburg again to get all those departments to be overwhelmed for which you are responsible for the next five years. The basis for this is the corresponding adaptation of the Federal Ministry Act.

But that’s not all. So that Chancellor, Minister and State Secretaries can find space on the government bank in parliament, the seating there were quickly adapted. Specifically: the armchairs were made narrower. The office question, on the other hand, could not be clarified so quickly, which is why some have had to satisfy themselves with interior workstations in the past few weeks. A temporary that now also ends. An overview:

On March 3, he was temporarily praised as Federal Minister of Art, Culture, Public Service and Sport. He is attached to Radetzkystrasse 2 as State Secretary for Sport (and government coordinator) Michaela Schmidt.
