Petra Donal’s daughter Pauline is one of them. At the age of seven, Pauline was « on the mat » for the first time, today she is fifteen and is thrown into the air for a stunt.
Pauline is not striving for a professional career, but the club expects her 100 % commitment – the high school student is ready to give it, and her family is behind her. Birthday celebrations, vacations, consolidated kinship are planned for sports. Because with cheerleading, each one counts. If a girl is missing, the whole choreography hooks.

Wait two hours, three times a week
This Monday afternoon at the end of March, Petra Donal works down one of the seats in the long series from metal chairs and takes a seat where she shouldn’t sit elsewhere: on the spectator grandstand in Vienna Erdberg. Petra Donal is therefore not familiar with the prospect of the training girls, even though she has accompanied Pauline to the sports hall for years.
