What’s going on at the Lidl at the milk work?

A large contingent of the fire brigade and police went out to the milk plant on Augsburger Strasse in Aichach on Wednesday evening. As the police announced on request, the emergency call was received at 5:20 p.m. with reference to a fire. It turned out on site that there was a fire in the paper press of the Lidl supermarket.

How District fire chief Dominik Sauter said in an interview with our editor from Aichach, Ecknach and Oberbernbach on site. They were able to quickly control the fire: « The majority of the other fire departments are already reversed on the way. » The operation was already over at around 6:25 p.m.

According to Sauter, the fact that the assignment was so large was due to the place and time: « We know how much is going on at the dairy at the time. We prefer to move out bigger because we don’t know how big the fire is and how it develops. » The police did not assume an arson on Wednesday evening. In the conventional sense, no damage was caused: « It was just garbage that burned. »
