In her book Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself, she writes about her time at Playboy Mansion – including the « weird and robotic » sex that Hefner required from her and the other girls around her at that time.

Holly Madison and her co -star at Girls Next Door, Bridget Marquard, co -organize a podcast titled Girls Next Level, and in some first episodes, discussed their time in the bedroom with Hefner, repeating a common topic – – Madison added that his voyeuristic aspect of watching other « girlfriends » made it particularly unpleasant to her.

Sodra Thodor, who was Hugh Hefner’s girlfriend from 1976 to 1981, told A&E’s Secrets of Playboy show that although their relationship began quite simply, HEF’s growing reputation as Playboy led his demands to escalate.

« He was very scared in the end because you couldn’t satisfy him – he had to have more and more and more, » he recalls. « I could well be a vibrator, I could well be a sex game – because I was. And no one knew what hell was I was. « 

In an interview for A&E’s Secrets of Playboy show, Stefon Tetelbaum, narrated the process of recovering used erotic games after one of the bedroom sessions and preparation for the next. « I had to wear rubber gloves and pick up the vibrators from the floor and put them in a special bucket, » Teenbaum explained.

The use of videos and photographs as blackmail continued for decades- Madison told the documentary that she knew she was holding photos of hundreds of girls for this very purpose.

In 2022, Crystal shared on Twitter that she discovered and destroyed these photos: « I found thousands of these photos of disposable cameras … I tore them immediately and destroyed each of them for Madison and the countless other women depicted in them. I disappeared. « 

The twins Karina and Karisa Shannon were invited to the Hefner’s bedroom on their 19th birthday, which they felt obliged to do, as a promising central magazine cover was pending.

In the A&E documentary, Karisa remembers that she offered her a pill that immediately made them feel « more drunk than ever » and then got involved in sexual activity.
