As certain students explained, they will not run, but will be able to support people who « have credibility » and who think they will represent the voice of the people.

This can be seen as a peak of political articulation of multimedic protests in Serbia, and elections are seen as a precondition for fulfilling student requests.

Several opposition parties unconditionally support the student request, and state that they will devote all their resources to that goal. Individual opposition leaders believe that the idea of ​​the transition government was better, and that it was impossible to expect fair and free choices to arrange Aleksandar Vučić.

The government unanimously rejects the idea of ​​emergency elections, which he sees as a disaster for the state, or seeing no need for it, because as the police minister Ivica Dačić, « they can be the end of the dream of those looking for elections. »

Slippery terrain of election conditions

« Capillary voices, abuse of social institutions, intimidation – I think that there is a little problem. This is the case with fraudulent citizens and their organization can mean more serious control during the election day, » Sejdinovic emphasizes.

How to get to the choice?

If the government remains firmly in the position that « a wide list and clearly defined requirements allow citizens to be made to passive resistance, which they have so far refused, but now it can be a much more focused pressure because the government will have to discourage. »

Nedim Sejdinovic, on the other hand, believes that « crisis in Serbia is already so deep that it is difficult to overcome without some major political solutions, and elections are certainly one of these solutions. »
