During this phenomenon, two coronal emissions occurred in the sun. These huge clouds of charged particles can disrupt the Earth’s magnetic field by causing geomagnetic storms.

According to scientists, storms will be moderate – G2 class. Therefore, storms can cause visible polar glows even outside their normal latitudes, reaching the northern states of the United States.

It should be borne in mind that even if the emissions of the coronal mass reach the earth, it will not necessarily lead to a polar glow. Bright colors in the night sky occur if the alignment of the magnetic field will allow the mass from the sun to connect with the magnetosphere of the Earth.
