Remove the mattress stains with a cloth soaked in vinegar
– When you wash such things, do not add softeners, because they often contain animal fats that can bother the fibers of the fabric and damage the washing machine, Harnett advises. He adds that it is good to refresh mattresses at the end of the winter, using natural ingredients that remove unpleasant odors and bacteria.
– Sprinkle with baking soda on the mattress in a even layer and let it work for at least an hour, with open windows to enter fresh air. Baking soda absorbs odors, and fresh air and sunlight have an antibacterial effect. If there are stains on the mattress, you can remove them with vinegar: apply it to a soft cloth and gently rub the stain, she added. Leave a little more with the open windows to evaporate the smell of vinegar.
Dirty window frames will be easily washed with warm water to which you have added a natural dishwasher. Wipe them with a sponge to remove the yellow layer of dust that has accumulated from smoking or cooking in space. Open the windows, then pour the vinegar into the spray bottle and spray the glass, which you can wipe with a hairless cloth. A good choice is cloths with microfigues, but even better than bamboo because they contain plastic.
Baking soda will remove the fat accumulated on the oven walls
If you have also left the oven cleaning for this time, it is good to know that it is possible without strong chemicals, in an more environmentally friendly way.
A rubber glove collects pet hair
– Make your natural baking soda and water paste, apply it to the interior of the oven and leave it overnight. Just make surfaces the next day. The baking soda will soften the fat and make it easier to remove the burned stains, Harnett explains.
– You will simply simply clean the home of pet hair, even without a vacuum cleaner with special brushs. Just pull on the rubber gloves and cross your hands over the surfaces covered with hair. The tire creates friction that attracts and facilitates them. This method works well on furniture, carpets and fabrics, and if the hair is not removed or glued due to static electricity, slightly moisten the gloves with water and will be even more effective – he adds.
