Simion left his mouth shut on the French journalists after explaining to them what the problems of France are: « You have lost your relationship with God. With your heroes. Moderator Gauthier Le Bret asked who is to blame for the decline of democracy in Romania.

The Gold leader accused Macron’s France of involvement in the Romanian elections, including in the annulment of the December 2024 elections. « I do not accuse France as a country but to President Macron for this state of affairs. »

« France was involved in the Romanian elections. The ambassador of France has circulated in all the regions of Romania to convince the businessmen to support my counter -candidate, the mayor of Bucharest, Nicușor Dan, » George Simion told French television.

« It is serious, we are not Iran. I do a parallel to Iran, where the Ayatolahs decide who can apply. It is exactly like your case, from France, where Marine Le Pen was forbidden by some judges. And in Romania the elections were canceled without a reason. »

« However, here we can still criticize the president without the police knocking on the door, » said one of the journalists, with reference to Iran but also to Romania, where Cătălin Predoiu’s militia has reached these dictatorial practices.

George Simion said that in Romania, after the killing of Ceausescu in December 1989 he was not a real democracy but the old security and communists perpetuated their presence at the management of the country.

« Probably these are the first free choices! » Said Simion, on the current choices.

As for Western Europe’s condition, Simion appreciated:

« I believe that Romania and Eastern Europe can redeem the whole of Europe!

And if we are in Eastern Europe please do not confuse us with Russia. And not with Ukraine! ”

« Romanians are now more democrats, unlike Emmanuel Macron, » said George Simion live.

« You will meet Macron when you become president and tell him these things directly, then? » Asked the moderator.
