Vignettes

Just under 2 million vignettes have been sold since the beginning of the year, with revenue exceeding BGN 100 million. The most preferred are the annual, with half the bought, followed by the weekly. This shows that many people have bought a vignette before new prices came into force, but in general, at the end of the year, most vignettes expire.

In practice, these are prices from three years ago before being reduced as a measure against the rise in life and high inflation of 2022. According to the plan, higher prices had to come into force a month earlier, along with lifting tollsbut the change was delayed by an argument not to be expensive to travel around Easter.
