Slovenian basketball ace Luka Doncic In Zadobrova, on the eastern edge of Ljubljana, it is realizing a new real estate investment. They began to come true in May 2023, when its LD Family Trust fund obtained a building permit for a new building. Construction began in November of the same year. It seems that the new residence will primarily be designed to provide privacy and comfort.
Doncic’s new estate covers almost 9,000 square meters, which includes additional land next to the main building. Although initially there were speculations that a smaller neighborhood could grow there, the current plans show that Doncic swears by the privacy and spaciousness of the location in the immediate vicinity of the bypass and the highway towards Styria.

The land was bought by Doncic from the Chinese investment company, founded in 2013 by businessmen Li Jži and Li Gang. The company owns even more real estate around Ljubljana, including Neuberger Street and along Podutica Road.
The architectural design of the new villa was taken over by BCR, known for its participation in the construction of some high -profile projects, such as the villa of the cryptomillionaire Damian Merlak in Portorož. Judging by their past works, a modern and aesthetically sophisticated residence is expected in Doncic.

Although Doncic does not expose his investments in public, his real estate portfolio continues. In 2019, he bought a villa near a golf course in Smlednik for 1.84 million euros and then land nearby. The 2017 villa was previously owned by Lumi 7 Real Estate, owned by Doncic’s mother. This company bought the villa in February 2019 from Eugenia Marjeta Lazarini from the Lazarini noble family, which acquired the Smlednik mansion and its surroundings in denationalization. Doncic also arranged a basketball and tennis court next to Villa. The villa has a net floor area of 341 square meters and stands on a 1408 -square -foot plot, with Doncic the owner of the neighboring plot, which measures 1079 square meters.
He also bought a luxury apartment in the elite Schellenburg neighborhood in the center of Ljubljana, where the price of a square meter ranges between 7,000 and 12,000 euros. Doncic is supposed to become the owner of one of the penthouse apartments.

Doncic recently learned a return flight from Dallas to Ljubljana with a rented Gulfstream G650 ER private aircraft. The flight first captured a bend over Zadobrova, then landed at Brnik, where Doncic disembarked at the VIP terminal, without public appearances in front of fans.
