We’re not going to kneel: Video message from China to USA
China’s Foreign Ministry has released a video on social networks as a direct response to US President Donald Trump’s policies, saying China will not withdraw in the trade conflict.
In the video, American politics compares to « Tornado’s eye when everything looks peaceful for a moment, but it is clear that an even stronger storm is coming. » It appeals to the international community to oppose what they call « American harassment » and through a series of examples show negative consequences of what they say is American economic domination. As an illustration, they mention how « aggressive US economic strategy has destroyed companies such as Toshiba and Alstom, and has also caused long -term economic damage to some countries, such as Japan.

The United States in the video is called a « paper tiger » and emphasizes that this country does not represent the global majority.
