Went in on my reason for crazy cause

In a post on Reddit entitled ‘My Neighbor has lost the mind’ the woman explained that she has had several problems with the neighbor’s behavior – but now that she and her husband are trying to sell their house, the situation has escalated.

The neighbor sent an email to the couple’s real estate agent ‘to say that she wants the next owner to know that the garden’s fence and wall do not belong to the couple but her’.

« To prevent it from counting like a dispute, we tried to talk to her and asked what we could do to solve the situation, » the woman writes in her posting on Reddit.

But it ended in ‘A quarrel’, where the neighbor claimed that the woman and her husband ‘have not respected the skeleton’ in the five years they have lived there.

« We thought the wall/fence marked the border and that everything was okay – we’ve never changed anything. We asked if she wanted two fences or two walls, but she said it didn’t matter to her, » she explains.

« The next day we received a letter where she apologized for her behavior and wrote that as long as the next owners understand that the fence and the wall are hers, there should be no problem. »

The couple decided to ‘leave the case’ and asked their real estate agent to inform interested buyers that the fence is not their responsibility. But the neighbor didn’t stop there.

« I went out today and came home to big ‘129’s’ painted on the wall and all the way along our garden fence. I’m angry, because our garden is private and has a door – so she has gone into and into our reason to do it, » the woman writes in her post.

« For someone who is terrified of the idea that we are touching her fences, I would have expected she would respect our property herself. »

In a follow -up comment, the woman wrote that her ‘personal view is that she is out of balance and afraid of change’ and that ‘the threat of new neighbors has made her uneasy’.

A number of users at Reddit were quick to share their attitudes, several of which came up with creative suggestions on how to handle the neighbor. Many advised her to put her own fence in front of what belongs to the neighbor.

« If I’m on my way to an emergency, I assume you are house number 129. It either means that we will come to you and not to the neighbor if she needs help – or that we are looking for you while you wait, » wrote a paramedic who came with an important point.

« If you are not home at that time, it may end up with your door being broken up if the person inside is unconscious … and if it turns out to be the neighbor, then it will delay the help. You could argue to remove the numbers for ‘security reasons’, » he continued.
