We’ll sleep less hour this weekend, don’t forget about shifting shutters
The shift of the clock or the passage to the summer time has established itself in order to better use daylight and reduce energy consumption. People would burn less when it is bright outside, and with the adjustment of working hours, the consumption of electrical and heat would reduce.
We first introduced the summer time in Slovenia in 1983. Today it is used by most countries, but not fully coordinated. The transition to winter time happens to us last Sunday in October, when at 3:00 am we shift to 2:00, gaining an extra hour of sleep. Summer time begins this Sunday 30. March, when we move to 3:00 at 2:00 pm, which means we will sleep for one hour less.
The profession points out that the passage to summer time is the worst option for health. The extension of summer time to winter would be pushed into the darkness and the beginning of the work would be pushed into the darkness, with the sun in December only at 9.30.
