Weekly Food Inspection Results Announced – Cyprus Newspaper

In weekly food inspections, both imported and domestic products were detected on the limit plant protection product. In addition, a domestic product, an outdated plant protection product containing samples were found.

According to a statement made by the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the import and domestic product samples taken between 23-29 May 2025 were analyzed at the State Laboratory, and the results were evaluated according to the European Union Pesticide Limits.

Accordingly, 18 of the 21 samples taken from imported products were clean and 3 samples containing the plant protection product were found.
