Weather: Rainy today – where will it rain

The weather today Friday May 2nd will be unstable in Crete, the southern Cyclades and the Dodecanese with rains and sporadic storms.

The phenomena in Crete until the morning hours will be strong in places. In the rest of the country a few clouds which will be mainly increased in the midday and afternoon hours and will also occur in the continental mountainous thunderstorms.

The winds will blow from northern directions, west 3 to 4, east 4 to 6 and in the central and southern Aegean temporary local 7 beaufort.

The temperature will not note a significant change. It will reach the west and north of 26 degrees, in the rest of the continents 25 degrees and in the other island areas 19 to 21 degrees Celsius.

MACEDONIA, THRAKI

Weather: A few clouds, which in the early hours of the morning in Eastern Macedonia will be temporarily increased and a few rain may occur. In the midday and afternoon hours, local clouds will increase and local rains and isolated thunderstorms mainly in the mountains will occur.

Winds: Variable 3 to 4 and east northeast up to 5 beaufort.

Temperature: from 09 to 26 degrees Celsius. In Western Macedonia it will be 2 to 3 points lower.

Ionian Islands, Epirus, Western Solid, Western Peloponnese

Weather: Local clouds that will increase in the southern Cyclades and Crete and will develop local rains and sporadic thunderstorms that will be strong in Crete in the morning. Gradually the phenomena will be weakened and confined to eastern Crete.

Winds: North 5 to 6 and temporary local 7 beaufort.

Temperature: from 14 to 19 degrees and in southern Crete to 21 degrees Celsius.

EAST ISLANDS – DODECANESEA

Weather: A few clouds in the eastern Aegean islands that will be increased in the afternoon.

In the Dodecanese clouds at times increased with local rains and sporadic storms. Weakening phenomena is expected late in the afternoon.

Winds: In the southern northeast 3 to 5 that will gradually become northwest up to 4 beaufort. In the rest of the northeast northeast 5 to 6 and temporary local 7 beaufort.

Temperature: from 13 to 21 degrees Celsius.

THESSALY

Weather: A few clouds locally increased in the morning in eastern Thessaly and Sporades. In the midday and afternoon hours the clouds will increase and local rain will occur in the mountains. In the evening generally cloudy.

Winds: Variable 3 to 4 beaufort and in the Sporades north with the same intensity.

Temperature: from 10 to 26 degrees Celsius.

ATTICA

Weather: A few clouds at times increased with the possibility of local rain in the midday and afternoon in the mountains. In the evening generally cloudy.

Winds: North 4 to 5 and east local 6 beaufort.

Temperature: from 13 to 24 degrees Celsius.

Thessaloniki

Weather: A few clouds that will be temporarily increased in the midday and afternoon hours and will develop local rains and isolated thunderstorms mainly in the mountains.

Winds: variable 3 to 4 beaufort.

Temperature: from 10 to 25 degrees Celsius.

The weather on Saturday

In Crete and the southern parts of the Dodecanese transient clouds with a few local rains until afternoon. In the rest of the country generally cloudy weather with local clouds in the mountains of mainland Greece at noon – afternoon where local rainstorms are likely to occur.

The winds will blow from northern directions, west 3 to 5 beaufort, east 4 to 6 and central and southern Aegean local 7 beaufort with gradual weakening in the afternoon.

The temperature will rise slightly, mainly in the east and south. In the Aegean islands and Crete will reach 20 to 23 degrees, in the rest of the country up to 24 to 28 degrees Celsius.

The weather on Sunday

Generally cloudy weather. In the afternoon and afternoon, temporary clouds will develop in the central and northern continents and local rainstorms are likely to occur in the mountains, mainly in Macedonia.

The temperature will grow slightly further and will range at relatively high levels for the season.
