Weather May 11, 2025 – storms, snow and cold in Poland
The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management warns: On Sunday, the weather in Poland will be very variable. In the west of the country, we can count on peace and moderate cloudiness – without rainfall and with a pleasant temperature reaching 17 degrees C.
A quite different situation awaits the inhabitants of the eastern regions. There they are possible Violent storms with snowfish rainfalland locally – heavy rainfall. In the Carpathians also a surprise – flight rain and snow are forecasted.
Temperature on Sunday, May 11. From cold to spring
Depending on the region, mercury bars will show completely different values. In the north of the country, the maximum temperature will be only 8 degrees C. The farther west, the warmer. Inhabitants of Lower Silesia or Lubuskie can count on up to 17 degrees C.
The wind will be weak and moderate, although in north-eastern regions it can reach gusts up to 65 km per hour, which will only strengthen the feeling of cold.
Night with a cool accent
Night from Sunday to Monday will bring further cooling. In the West – calmly and with a slight cloudiness. In the east – brief rainfall, and in the Carpathians, even snowfall is possible. The temperature will drop to 0 degrees Celsius, and on the ground locally up to -2 degrees C. It is better to hide delicate plants inside!
Spring with slip – what next?
Although the calendar spring is in full swing, nature apparently has unfinished countries with winter. Sunday, May 11, will be a transitional day – cool, wet and restless places. We warn those who plan to activity outdoors: take something warm with you.
